STENCIL NANOCOATING
A cleaner surface for
smarter SMT stencil
maintenance.
NanoFlowX Stencil Nanocoating is an ultra-thin, nearly invisible hydrophobic surface treatment designed for SMT stencil maintenance—helping liquids bead and move across the treated area instead of clinging.
Spray + wipe application • Two-coat process • 24-hour air dry • Stainless steel stencils

THE STENCIL PRINTING CHALLENGE
Residue, cleaning cycles and process variation add friction to production.
Paste Build-Up
Around apertures and on the stencil underside, leftover solder paste tends to build up, driving cleaning cycles more often.
Cleaning & Downtime
Frequent wiping and cleaning can interrupt production flow and consume operator time and cleaning materials.
Print Consistency
Contamination and residue can contribute to inconsistent paste release and process variation.
NANOFLOWX STENCIL NANOCOATING
Hydrophobic protection without a complex coating process.
A production-friendly treatment designed to support cleaner stencil surfaces, easier maintenance and more efficient workflows.
✓
Ultra-thin, nearly invisible surface treatment
Designed specifically for SMT stencil maintenance.
✓
Hydrophobic surface behavior
Encourages liquids to bead and move instead of clinging.
✓
Simple manual application
Applied by spray and microfier wipe with no complex coating equipment required.
✓
Cleaner, easier maintenance
Supports more efficient stencil maintenance and production workflows.
✓
Non-fluorinated formula
Designed without fluorinated chemistry for a simpler coating approach.
FEATURES
Built for practical stencil maintenance.
Hydrophobic Surface
Promotes water beading and fast runoff with minimal streaking.
Ultra-Thin Finish
Nearly invisible treatment with minimal impact on the stencil surface.
Fast, Simple Application
Clean, spray, wipe, repeat, then allow to dry.
Two-Coat Process
Designed around two uniform applications for complete treatment.
Room-Temperature Drying
Standard process uses a 24-hour air-dry period.
Production-Friendly
No specialized deposition equipment required for manual application.
OPERATIONAL BENEFITS
Designed to simplify routine stencil care.
Benefits are framed as operational support rather than guaranteed process outcomes.
Helps reduce lliquid and residue adhesion to the treated stencil surface.
Supports faster, easier wipe-down and cleaning between production runs.
May help reduce the frequency and effort of manual cleaning.
Supports a more consistent stencil condition across repeated print cycles.
Can help lower cleaning-material usage and operator touch time.
Simple application makes it practical for maintenance programs and production environments.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Clean. Spray. Wipe. Repeat. Dry.
The standard manual process uses IPA surface preparation, two coating passes and a 24-hour air dry before use.
STEP 1
Clean
Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth.
STEP 2
Spray
Spray NanoFlowX Stencil Nanocoating evenly across the surface. A paint sprayer can also be used.
STEP 3
Spread
Spread the coating evenly using a clean microfiber cloth.
STEP 4
Repeat
Repeat the spray application for complete, uniform coverage.
STEP 5
Wipe
Wipe evenly to create a thin, consistent surface treatment.
STEP 6
Dry
Allow the coated stencil to fully air dry for 24 hours before use.
SEE THE DIFFERENCE
Uncoated vs. NanoFlowX-coated stencil.

Uncoated Stencil
Liquids and contaminants can wet the surface more readily. Droplets tend to cling, spread or leave more residue behind.

NanoFlowX-Coated Stencil
The treated surface promotes stronger beading and easier runoff. Water slides off quickly with minimal streaking.
