Nanotechnology
The term nanocoating refers to nanoscale (i.e. with a thickness of a few tens to a few hundreds of nanometers) thin-films that are applied to surfaces in order to create or improve a material’s functionalities such as corrosion protection, water and ice protection, friction reduction, antifouling and antibacterial properties, self-cleaning, heat and radiation resistance, and thermal management.
V1 Splashproof Nanoparticle Technology
V1 is best for low voltage devices such as microphones and small consumer electronics. IP65 and IP66 tested for electronics protection. Nanoparticles are formulated to be easy to use.
V2 Electronic Waterproof Nanocoating
Manufacturers can easily integrate to their production line V2 electronics nanocoating solution. The 2-step 2-minute coating process achieves a IP68 waterproof rating without special equipment, tools or training.
V3 Air Curable Electronics Coating
V3 offers the same protection as V1 and V2 but also protects at saltwater capacity. This product utilizes polymer hybrid technology containing extensive interpenetrating networks that enables strong adhesion, chemical resistance, and powerful barrier against infiltrating substances. V3 requires no heat to cure allowing easy integration into production lines.
V4 Salt Water Grade Electronics Coating
V4 is a thicker nanocoating that offers the same protection as V1, V2, and V3 but protects at a higher industrial grade level. V4 is highly recommended for devices in corrosive environments as it contains a strong physical and chemical barrier against corrosion substances as it is formulated with a proprietary blend of organosilicon chemistry. Electronics coated with V4 have passed tests longer than 400 hours in a salt fog chamber per ASTM B117.
