What is the cost?

Here is the cost analysis as a rule of thumb: For example how many 6” inch x 8” inch PCB boards can be coated with 1 liter of V2 Solution? Calculation is based on surface area - general rule is using the square inch of the PCB board x 0.16. Eg: 6 x 8 = 48 x 0.16 = 7.68 ml consumption rate - depending on the price per liter you sell for will be the price to coat each unit.

What is the order and delivery process like?

This is all predicated on the customer, delivery time, freight cost and customs clearance. We can typically fill orders in 2 -5 days depending on volume and container size the customer desires. Volumes come in 1, 5, 16 liter format, anything over this size will be too heavy to carry.

Can we have a video of automated systems?

We're not allowed to take videos of customers facilities. We do have videos of a spray line, but robotics we don't.

What is the expected evaporation rate?

Evaporation rate is about 1ml per 10 min based on the sample tray size at ambient. The evaporation rate is 0.0357 mL / cm^2/ hour. However, this will vary depending on the type of board disturbing the surface of the solution and also the solution's exposed area. After 5 hours total time of dipping boards using the same solution, it is recommended to purchase more solution as the solvent will evaporate off to the point where the solution is too concentrated. However, this can be experimentally streamlined if you want to use the same solution as one can continuously dilute the solution to maintain a specific concentration range

What is the durability of the coating?

The durability of the coating has a lot to do with which type of coating it is and also it's environment. Generally we we can see up to 8+ years on outdoor electronics.

What type of electronics can it be used for?

How does the IP68 protect pins on connectors?

What do you mean by IP67/68 rating?

IP67 and IP68 are ratings that describe the degree of protection provided by electronic enclosures against the ingress of water and dust. IP67: This rating indicates that the enclosure is "dust-tight" and can withstand being submerged in water up to a depth of one meter for a duration of up to 30 minutes without allowing water to enter the enclosure. IP68: This rating indicates that the enclosure is "dust-tight" and can withstand being submerged in water for extended periods of time at depths greater than one meter without allowing water to enter the enclosure. How is NanoFlowX better than conformal coatings?

NanoFlowX is a liquid dipped (or sprayed) coating material that provides several advantages over conventional conformal coating methods. Some of these advantages include: 1. Ease of application: Unlike conformal coatings, NanoFlowX coatings do not require masking any of the components. This saves a lot of time already in the application phase as masking is a tedious before-coating preparation task that must be done to printed circuit boards. What is the difference between V1, V2, V3 and V4?

The main difference is the coating thickness and heat curing time that can vary. Each of our solutions also serve different types of electronics. Example: V1 is meant for small, low voltage electronics while V4 is meant for industrial high voltage electronics.

Do you provide samples?

We do not provide samples. However you can purchase a developet kit with 250ml of coating solution for testing from our store.

Do I really need to have a heatgun?

NanoFlowX coatings require heat at a minimum of 176°F (80°C) therefore you would need to make sure your heat source can reach that temperature.
